The Endako Mine, near Fraser Lake in central British Columbia, is a molybdenum mine jointly owned by Centerra Gold (75%, operator) and Moon River Moly Ltd. (25%). Molybdenum is a metal commonly used to strengthen steel. The mine is not currently operating and is being maintained safely while longer-term plans are considered. Environmental protection, water management, tailings and reclamation remain ongoing priorities.


Centerra continues to monitor environmental conditions at Endako, including water quality at and around the site and the health of fish and aquatic life. Tailings facilities are regularly inspected and monitored as they move through care and maintenance or closure. Endako also reached 10 years without a reportable workplace injury in 2025.
